Annertech has, not one, but two websites as finalists in the Best in Government & Not-for-Profit category.

The Oxfam Ireland website

Oxfam Ireland has been an Annertech client for more than a decade. The recent redesign allowed it to align itself with the international brand guidelines and to also take advantage of the latest technological improvements.

Designer Luke Brennan utilised Oxfam’s stunning imagery to the full, allowing the pictures to draw the user in. It was the incredible imagery for the “impact stories” that formed the basis of the new design. He also made it as easy as possible for users to take action on campaigns and causes, such as climate change, gender equality and humanitarian emergencies.

Colin Carey, Head of Digital, Oxfam Ireland, said: “As a content editor, the website is very easy to use. The new layout experience is brilliant – it is simple yet flexible – and we are thrilled with the result.”

The new Qualifax website.

The Qualifax website

Ireland’s national learners’ database, Qualifax, aims to offer a “one stop shop" for learners and the public. Qualifax.ie is an essential tool that is updated constantly. Its users trust that it will give them a reliable, non-biased view of further and higher education options within Ireland.

There is an art to taking an information-heavy website that is laden with text and turning it into a sleek, gorgeous, easy-to-use service. This is exactly what we delivered for Qualifax. The new website makes information better for the hundreds of thousands of people who use it every year.

Angela Lambkin, Head of Qualifications Information and Learning Opportunities, said: "Working with the Annertech team was systematic, professional and on time throughout the stages of redevelopment from research through to launch of the new site. QQI now has an intuitive, modern, user and mobile friendly site with comprehensive searchable course information for learners and their supporters."

At Annertech we are passionate about creating ambitious digital experiences, and we are proud that websites we create are regularly appreciated as some of the best in Ireland.

“The standard is incredibly high, but we have our fingers crossed,” said Stella. “We are thrilled to have these two projects shortlisted, and we are looking forward to the ceremony in September.”

“Congratulations to all the other finalists on being shortlisted for these awards,” said Stella. "The standard is incredibly high, but we have our fingers crossed."
