Modern Slavery Statement

Introduction

Annertech is a web design and development agency committed to conducting its business activities ethically and responsibly. We all have a responsibility to be alert to the risks, however small, within our businesses and in the wider supply chain. We are dedicated to preventing and eradicating modern slavery and human trafficking in all its forms. This modern slavery statement outlines our commitment to combating these practices within our operations and supply chains.

Our policies and practices

Supplier due diligence

Our supply chains include partners across the world ranging from multinational companies to small businesses.

We recognise the importance of ensuring that our suppliers share our commitment to combating modern slavery. We conduct due diligence on our suppliers to assess their compliance with anti-slavery and human trafficking laws. We review their policies, practices, and working conditions to verify their commitment to fair labour standards.

With regards to national or international supply chains, our point contact is preferably with an Irish or UK company or branch and we expect these entities to have suitable anti-slavery and human trafficking policies and processes in place.

Supplier contracts

We have zero tolerance for slavery and human trafficking and ask our suppliers to make a similar commitment and include an anti-human trafficking and slavery in their contracts. We expect all those in our supply chain and contractors to comply with all applicable laws and regulations related to labour standards, worker rights, and human rights.

Employee rights and welfare

At Annertech, we recognise that discrimination and victimisation are unacceptable and we are committed to encouraging equality, inclusivity and diversity in all aspects of our work. We are committed to paying our staff fairly, and ensure that everyone is paid above the living wage.

Training

To ensure a high level of understanding the risks of modern slavery and human trafficking in our supply chains and our business, we provide training to our staff to raise awareness about the risks.

Reporting

We are committed to continuous improvement in our efforts to combat modern slavery. We encourage our staff, suppliers, clients, and other stakeholders to report any suspicions, concerns, or incidents related to modern slavery or human trafficking. We regularly review our policies, procedures, and practices to identify areas for enhancement and take appropriate action to address any identified risks or deficiencies.

Conclusion

We are firmly committed to upholding human rights and ethical business practices. We recognize the importance of eradicating modern slavery and human trafficking from our operations and supply chains. We will continue to work diligently to ensure that slavery and human trafficking is not taking place in any part of our business or supply chains.
